Ruth Followell, 57, of Ironton passed away April 18, 2026. She was born December 27, 1968 at Fort Campbell, KY. She attended DeLassus Baptist Church. She found her greatest joy in the simple beauty of the outdoors, especially during cherished camping trips and peaceful days spent along the river. Whether sitting by a campfire under the stars or listening to the gentle flow of the water, she felt most at home surrounded by nature. Those moments were made even more special by the time she shared with family and loved ones

Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Edward Graham, Sr.; son, Jordan Followell; sister, Jenny Graham; niece, Kristen Lopez; nephew, Bobby Jean Graham; grandparents, Homer and Hazel Jones, Vernell and Peggy Hedrick.

Ruth is survived by her mother and, Edna (Jones) Hedrick; step-father, James Hedrick; siblings, Bobby (Pam) Graham, Jr., Todd (Renee) Hedrick, Heather Meyer; special nephew, Wyatt Graham; nieces and nephews, Chelsie, Skylar, Kristin, Devan, Willie and Stephonie.

A memorial visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 5:00 PM until the time of a memorial service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Michael McGuire officiating. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
