Ruth L. Williams

Mrs. Ruth L. Williams passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 27, 2011, at her Centertown, MO., residence at the age of 76 years, 8 months & 19 days. Ruth was born May 8, 1934, in Independence, CA., and was the daughter of Irvin Wilder and Nellie 'Lydston' Wilder. Ruth was united in marriage to Emmett Williams on March 14, 1959, in Long Beach, California. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett M. Williams (May 31, 2007), and 1 brother, Roy Wilder (2009).

Ruth was a homemaker and also operated a Home Day Care for 10 years in Norco, CA. After retiring in 1987, Ruth and Emmett moved to Farmington to be closer to his family. In 1999, they moved to Centertown to be closer to their children. Ruth always enjoyed spending time with her family and cherished those years.

Survivors Include: 2 Sons - David E. (& Jeannie) Williams, of Crossville, TN; and Mike J. Williams, of California, MO. 1 Daughter - Carol (Mrs. Larry) Williams, of Centertown, MO. Brother - Jack (& Janice) Wilder, of Kennewick, WA; 10 Grandchildren: RaeAnn Warner; Joy McCleese; Krista Packer; Robert Williams; Patrick Williams; Larry Vonn Williams; Laura Williams; Paul Williams; Jacob Williams & Kirsten Williams. Also surviving are numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation starts : Friday, 10 am @ TAYLOR Chapel.

There Will Be NO FUNERAL SERVICE. There will be a GRAVESIDE SERVICE, with Rev. Randy Sawyer officiating - held @ TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, at 11:00 am, Friday, Feb. 4, 2011, following the visitation.

Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, immediately following the chapel service will be PRIVATE.
