Ruth Etta Mary Obermann

Ruth Etta Mary Kaiser-Obermann, age 98 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on November 26, 1925, in Crosstown, Missouri to Lawrence and Anna (Juengel) Griffaw.

On June 3, 1944, she was united in marriage to Otto Kaiser, he preceded her in death on April 30, 1975. She later married Woodrow "Woody" Obermann on October 30, 1976; he passed away on December 31, 2011.

Those surviving include her two sons – Oliver E. Kaiser and wife Donita of Park Hills, Missouri, and Gene O. Kaiser of Fredericktown; four stepchildren – Robert, Wilbur, Barbara, and William Oberman; two grandchildren – Joe Kaiser and Danny Kaiser and three great grandchildren – Brianna, Brooklyn and Brian.

In addition to Otto and Woody, she is preceded in death by a stepson -Mike Obermann; her only sister – Elizabeth Walther and husband, Earl and two infant brothers – Louis and Lawrence.

Ruth had worked at Brown Shoe in Perryville, Missouri; she loved dancing, shopping, camping, and spending time with her family and friends; she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Farmington, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 9:00 – 12:00 a.m., on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon also on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown with Rev. Stephen Constien officiating.

Interment will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Farmington.
