Ruth Rowena Sago

Mrs. Ruth Rowena 'Holland' Sago passed away Wednesday morning, November 20, 2013, in Perryville, Missouri, at the age of 93 years, 3 months & 1 day. Ruth was born August 19, 1920, in Desloge, Missouri, and was the daughter of William Holland and Dorothy 'Marbery' Holland Hoffman. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Louis Glenn Sago (June 21, 1983); 2 daughters: Lynnette Ruth Munro & Sandra Straughan. 1 brother, William Holland & 1 granddaughter, Cynthia Diane Russell.

Ruth was born and raised in Desloge and attended the City Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis from 1940-1943. Ruth was the owner/operator of Easter's Home of Ruth Nursing Home, in Farmington, until 1980, when she retired to Port Charlotte, Florida. Ruth lived with Daniel & Susan since 2005.

Survivors Include: 2 sons - Daniel J. (& Susan) Sago, of St. Mary, Missouri, and Glenn (& Jane) Sago, of Benton, Arkansas. 1 brother, Richard Holland, of Oviedo, Florida; 1 niece, Billie (& Bruce) Jones, of Bonne Terre. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren & 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation : Thursday, 5-7 p.m. Visitation resumes, Friday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Friday, 1:00 p.m., November 22, 2013

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Fr. James Dyer officiating

Interment follows at : Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington
