Ryan Basler

Ryan Basler, 41, of Bonne Terre, passed away April 15, 2023.  He was born December 8, 1981, to Francis and Sherry (Estes) Basler.  Ryan was a 2000 graduate of North County High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Vatterott College.  He was an expert in his field and traveled throughout the Midwest, to service commercial security systems, for Johnson Controls.  Ryan enjoyed fishing, kayaking, hunting, riding bicycles, camping, but most of all, spending time with his kids, family and friends.  His greatest love was his wife and children.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Michelle (Hanks) Basler; children, Isabelle and Benton Basler; parents, Francis and Sherry Basler; sister, Wendy Schulz and husband Tom; sister in-law, Jessica Gates and husband Chris; father in-law, Paul Hanks;  close friends, but siblings by heart, Josh and Kristin Walker; several aunts, uncles, very special cousins and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 5:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM.  Pastor Dave Wiant will be officiating.
