Sam Leo Brooks

Samuel Leo Brooks of St. Louis, Missouri passed away December 23, 2022 at his home at the age of 94 years. He was born October 9, 1928 in Goodwater, Missouri the son of the late William Albert and Essie Gladys (Hill) Brooks. On April 1, 1948 he was united in marriage to Mary Louise Boring who preceded him in death on March 25, 2017. To this union three children were born: Linda Sherwin, Barbara Matchick (Greg) and Greg Brooks (Cindy) all of St. Louis, Missouri. Sam is also survived by eight grandchildren: Catherine Sherwin, Michael Sherwin (Agatha), Christopher Sherwin, Brett Brooks (Jessica), Brian Brooks (Hadassah), Erica Johnson (Phillip), Elyse Brooks, and Brittany Brooks, thirteen great grandchildren: Karl Schwegmann, Emily Schwegmann, Elizabeth Schwegmann, Kate Schwegmann, Autumn Putnam, Stella Putnam, Emma Putnam, Westley Sherwin, Genevieve Sherwin, Griffin Brooks, Lily Brooks, and Adelaide Johnson, Avalee Johnson, two great great grandchildren: Penny Koellner and Theodore Brooks Koellner as well...
