Samantha Nicole Hansmann

Samantha Nicole Hansmann, age 37 of Fredericktown, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born on February 26, 1988, in Fredericktown to Erwin Jay and Christina Jo (Smith) Hansmann.

Those surviving her include her two sons – Ethan Halpin and Ryder Halpin; father & stepmother – Jay & Vicki Hansmann of Marquand; mother & stepfather – Tina & Richard McGhee of Fredericktown; brothers – Dustin Hansmann and Chris (Melissa) Proffer;

sisters – Ashley (J.T.) Nanney and Desiree Smith.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents – Jim & Doris Berry and Sam & Shirley Smith; two aunts – Tracy Smith and Tammy Jennewein and one uncle – Chris Hansmann.

Samantha was a manager at Fredericktown Walmart; she enjoyed spending time with her kids and friends at the river.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m., also on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Nickolson.

Interment will be at a later date.
