Mr. Samuel A. Mayhugh passed away Wednesday evening, December 8, 2010, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 93 years, 11 months & 6 days. Sam was born January 2, 1917, in Princeton, Indiana, & was the son of Robert P. Mayhugh and Sudie M. 'Law' Mayhugh. Also preceding in death were: his 1st wife, Kathern 'Kintner' Mayhugh; his 2nd wife, Virginia Rourke; a daughter, Patricia Kay Mayhugh and a grandson, Scott David Mayhugh.

Sam was a US ARMY Veteran of World War II. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star for his service. Sam was also a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors Include : 3 sons - Dr. Sam (& Arlene) Mayhugh, of Newport Beach, California; Charles (& Sue) Mayhugh, of Wellington, Colorado; David (& Gayla) Mayhugh, of Farmington. 1 Sister, Lena Ruth Martin, of Princeton, Indiana. 5 Grandchildren: Brian, Todd, Chiquita, Marquita and Jeffrey. 8 Great-Grandchildren: Andrew, Nathan, Devyn, Trevor, Kathy, Tori, Nikki & Amelia. 1 Great, Great-Grandson, Dylan.

There Will Be No Visitation.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 11:00 a.m., June 11, 2011

at : Columbia White Church Cemetery
in Princeton, Indiana.
