Sandra "Grammie" Jean Ruff

 Sandra Jean “Grammie” Ruff, of Bonne Terre, passed away April 29, 2022, at home surrounded by family at 72 years of age. She was born October 9, 1949, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Siler and Elizabeth Mae (Kell) Siler; her first husband Gilbert O. Ruff and a brother Charles David Siler.

Sandra enjoyed sewing and quilting. She loved shopping, traveling, and movies, as well as attending kid’s and grandkid’s sporting events and theatrical performances. Sandra taught quilting classes at the Bonne Terre Senior Center.

Sandra is survived by her children, Cynthia Lynn Cunningham (Kenneth), Melissa Rene Kimball (Michael), Brian Douglas Forney (Jami), and Jason Charles Forney (Sarah); one sister, Sue Ann Powell; 12 grandchildren, Nora Kimball, Drew Forney, Cameron Kimball, Skylar Forney, Elizabeth Cunningham, Ethan Forney, Lucas Forney, Dillon Forney, Daniel Cunningham, Alareese Kimball, Clayton Kimball, Sarah Cunningham and her beloved dog luci. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Bonne Terre. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Boyer Chapel with Pastor Mark McMullin officiating . Burial to follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. In Lieu of flowers the family has ask that memorial donations be directed to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
