Sandra Jean Gravett

Sandra J. Gravett, 72, of Desloge, formerly of Cuba, passed away, November 16, 2014 at National Health Care in Desloge. She was born January 19, 1942 in Mine La Motte, to the late George and Iva (Wampler) Cook. She was a member of the Steelville Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 53 years, Eldon Gravett; sister, Georgia Parker; and brother, Carl Cook. Sandra is survived by three sons, Dennis Gravett of Cuba, Carl Garvett and fiancé Barb Velasco of Festus, Aaron Gravett and wife Sheila of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; two brothers, Gary Cook and wife Jackie, Darrell Ray Wampler and wife Margene; three sisters, Delores (Mrs. Ben) Jones, Janet (Mrs. Fred) Long, Myra (Mrs. Terry) Thomas. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, November 20, 2014, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel, Friday, November 21, 2014, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery.
