Shelby Jean Dodd

Shelby Jean Dodd, age 64 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her sisters home in New Madrid, Missouri. She was born on November 21, 1953 in Hickman, Kentucky, a daughter of Andrew Smith and Mildred Evelyn (Darnall) Keene. On September 9, 1970 in New Madrid she was united in marriage to Raymond Dodd Jr., he survives in Fredericktown. Other survivors include: two sons & daughters-in-law – Ray & Shannon Dodd and Kevin & Jennifer Dodd both of Fredericktown; two sisters & brothers-in-law – Tina & Brian Hartlien of Sikeston, Missouri and Judy & Lonnie Conyers of Wickliffe, Kentucky; one brother – Connie Keene of Clinton, Kentucky and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers - Junior, Wesley, Sam and Gary. Shelby was a self employeed hairdresser; she enjoyed fishing, flowers and going to church where she was a member at the Oak Dale Baptist Church in Coldwater, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Gipson officiating. Interment will be at the Revelle Cemetery in Cherokee Pass near Fredericktown. Condolences may be posted on this website.
