Sherman Levy Reed of Ironton, Missouri, passed away May 4, 2023 in Fredericktown, Missouri at the age of eighty-three years. He was born June 14, 1939 in Madison County, Missouri, the son of the late Noah Burns Reed and Virgie Caroline (West) Reed. On February 2, 2013, he married Alma Marie (Allen) and she survives. He is also survived by five children: Tony (Diane) Reed of Ironton, Missouri, Mike (Connie) Reed of Ironton, Missouri, Michelle (Mike) Tyndall of Middlebrook, Missouri, Ricky Lee Reed of Arcadia, Missouri, and Janie (Jay) Sisk of Arkansas and two stepchildren; Thomas (Mary Renna) Spangler of Ironton, Missouri and Sandra Craig of Ironton, Missouri. Sherman is also survived by his sisters: Louise Mieser of Warrensburg, Missouri, Roberta Browers of Ironton, Missouri, Evelyn Nash of Belleview, Missouri, Patricia Mills of Kansas, Anise Browers of Ironton, Missouri Edith Swinford of Belleview, Missouri, and Karen Hunter of Rolla, Missouri.
