Sherry Turner

Cheryl "Sherry" Turner, 68, of Desloge, passed away May 10, 2025, at Mercy South in St. Louis. Born on May 15, 1956, in Farmington, Sherry was the cherished daughter of the late Don and Clara (Willis) Elders. In her younger years, she found joy in playing Bingo, bowling, showcasing her skills at the pool table and was an excellent baker. Over the years, Sherry developed a fondness for QVC and will be fondly remembered for her fun and youthful sense of humor. A devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, she could often be found cheering them on.

Nevertheless, it was her love for family that defined her and she was the glue for the family. Sherry's heart swelled with happiness when surrounded by her beloved grandchildren. The cherished moments spent playing card games during family gatherings, especially during holidays, created lasting memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Sherry was a member of the VFW in Desloge and a huge supporter of veterans.

She was preceded by her father, Don Elders; mother, Clara Stokes and husband Cecil; sisters, Donna Auten, Robbin Campbell and husband Randy; and brother in-law, Terry Brotherton.

Sherry is survived by her children, Krista Crocker and husband Dave, Kiley Belleville and husband Sean, Tim Wadlow and wife Trish; grandchildren, Halie (Mike) Pazdera, Austin Crocker, Jaycie (fiancé Kyle Bonney) Wadlow, Jaydan Coale, Daniel and Landon Wadlow; step-grandchildren, Clay Belleville, Camryn Belleville and Caleb (Stephanie) Dunn; three great-grandchildren, Lane, Owen and Kash Pazdera; siblings, Sheilah Brotherton, Mark (Virginia) Elders, Laura (Todd) Stephens, Richard (Angie) Horton and Bobby Horton; significant other, Gary Manser; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, also survive.

In this time of grief, we invite all who knew Sherry to come together in remembrance, celebrating her legacy of love, warmth, and joy. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in all the lives she touched. A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM until the celebration of life at 7:00 PM. Her son Tim Wadlow, will be lending the celebration of Sherry’s life.
