Shirley D. Bryant, Jr.

Mr. Shirley D. Bryant, Jr., passed away at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau late Friday morning, October 16, 2015, at the age of 91 years 10 months & 18 days. Shirley was born Nov. 28, 1923, in Herculaneum, MO., & was the son of Shirley D. Bryant, Sr., & Elda S. 'Naumann' Bryant. Also preceding-in-death was his wife, Virginia L. 'Dunlap' Bryant (2012).

Shirley was a US ARMY Veteran; of the Baptist faith and retired from the Meramec Mining Company.

Survivors Include: a daughter, Nancy (& David) Ballard, of Farmington. 3 grandchildren: April (& DeWayne) Schaaf, of Cape Girardeau; Nathan (& Shannon) Ballard, of St. Louis, and Julie (& Daniel) Phelps, of Cape Girardeau. 8 great-grandchildren: Joshua Green; Amy Schaaf; Abby Schaaf; Sebastian Schaaf; Liberty Phelps; Timothy Phelps; Levi Phelps and Evie Ballard.

Visitation Starts : Sunday, 1:00 p.m., October 25th

Funeral : Sunday, 3:00 p.m., Oct. 25th

at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Daniel Phelps officiating

LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead the funeral procession to Parkview Cemetery, Farmington

for burial with : Full Military Honors
