Shirley Jean Watson

            Shirley Watson, 67, of Park Hills, passed away at her residence on March 23, 2018.  She was born on December 31, 1950 to the late Edwin Edwards and Arlene (Wasson) Betsch in St. Louis.  Shirley was a member of the 2nd Baptist Church of East Bonne Terre. She loved music and adored her dogs.

            In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Watson.  

            Shirley is survived by her stepdaughter, Connie Watson and husband Scott; grandchildren, La Tisha Ayers and husband Craig Liu; brothers, Michael Betsch and Leonard Betsch Jr. and wife Barb; sisters, Alice Hawkins and husband Rob and Barbara Edwards and friend Tom Boone; and several nieces and nephews.

            Visitation will be Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Memorials may be made to Alpha-1 Foundation at alpha1.org.
