Shirley Jones

Shirley Jones 77 of Desloge, passed away November 27, 2011 at her residence.She was born November 13, 1934 in Gumbo MO, to the late Doris and Beaulah (Mitchell) Mahurin.Shirley would have celebrated her 60 year wedding anniversary on December 1, with her husband Johnnie "Casey" Jones. She is preceded in death by parents; sister, Loretta (Cricket) Mahurin Guinn; grandson, Michael Petty Jr.; daughter, Patricia Jones Spray; son, Johnnie (Frank) Jones Jr. Shirley is survived by her husband Johnnie Jones; daughter Nancy (Mrs. Michael) Petty; son, Timmy Jones and wife Julie; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Doris Jean (Mrs. Paul) Pinkley, Ruth Ann (Mrs. Kevin) Smith; brother, Clyde "Beans" Mahurin and wife Delores; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge, with Rev. Troy Smith and Rev. Dwayne Petty officiating.Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Serenity Hospice or Pleasant View Assembly of God Building Fund.
