Shirley Mae Toppins

Shirley Mae (Parton) Toppins passed away in her home on August 12, 2015 at the age of 78 years. She was born on May 25, 1937, the daughter of the late James and Wanda (McLeod) Parton. On May 29, 1954 she was united in marriage to Hollis "Ott" Toppins who preceded her in death on August 19, 2011. To this union four children were born: Pamela and husband Dennis Albert of Annapolis, Missouri; Donald and wife Dawn Toppins of Saint Louis, Missouri; Ronald Toppins who preceded her in death; and Tammy and husband Greg Morgan of Piedmont, Missouri. Shirley is also survived by a brother William Parton of Cummings, Georgia and two sisters Kathy Shibley of Terre Du Lac, Missouri and Susie Scaggs of Annapolis, Missouri; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
