Stella Faye Burns

Mrs. Stella Faye Burns passed away June 19, 2003, at her Farmington residence at the age of 74 years, 8 months & 21 days. Stella was born on August 28, 1928, in Bonne Terre, MO., to William Elbert Hutchings & Mary Louise 'Carrow' Hutchings. She was also preceded-in-death by her husband, Ernest Holderness Burns, on August 31, 1985; 2 triplet sisters: Della Storie & Ella Hutchings; 3 other sisters: Gladys Strong, Mabel Smith & Rosetta Lawson; 2 step-sisters: Hazel Tinker & Elsie Richardson and 3 brothers: Floyd, Aubrey & Guy Hutchings. Stella was a retired employee of the Southeast Missouri State Hospital & a member of the Farmington VFW - Ladies Auxiliary. SURVIVORS: 1 BROTHER: William Sylvan Hutchings, of Bonne Terre, Missouri and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & other relatives & friends. Visitation will be Monday, 9:00-11:00 a.m. & Memorial Service, Monday, 11:00 a.m., June 23, 2003, at Taylor Funeral Service, Inc. Chapel, in Farmington, Missouri, with Rev. Jay Lacey officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials may be made to: Farmington VFW - Ladies Auxiliary.
