Stephen Gerald Dowd

Stephen Gerald Dowd, age 41 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on August 20, 1976 in Farmington, Missouri a son of Melvin and Regina (Merriman) Dowd who survives in Fredericktown. Other surviviors include one son: Hunter Dowd of Patton, Missouri; two daughters - Hattie Renee Dowd also of Patton and Jozie Dowd of Fredericktown; one brother - Jerren (Misty) Dowd of Boone Terre, Missouri; one sister - Alisia (Ryan) Johnston of Festus, Missouri and serveral nieces and nephews. Stephen was a forklift driver at Gilster-Marylee in Perryville, Missouri; he enjoyed taking walks in the woods, playing his guitar and listening to music, watching animals and spending time with his family. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Cody Alley and Pastor Ryan Johnston officiating. Internment will be at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Fredericktown. Memorial contributions are suggested to Stephen Dowd Memorial Fund ~ Wilson Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted on this website.
