Stephen Dee Roach Sr.

Stephen Dee Roach Sr., 59, of Fredericktown, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis. He was born on Saturday, November 20, 1965, in Fredericktown, MO to the late Clifford D. Roach and Patricia Mae (Hawn) Adams. Steve loved going to and watching races at the dirt track and on TV. He loved spending time with his kids and especially his grandchildren. However, he was a serious card player and would not even let his grandchildren win if he could prevent it.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Randy Wayne Roach; nephew, Brandon Wayne Roach; Granny Ethal Hawn; and Darlene Roach.

Stephen is survived by his high-school sweetheart and wife of 34 years, Melissa "Missy" (Cook) Roach; children Brittany Danielle (Roach) Couch, Stephen Dee Roach Jr., Amy Sue Roach, Katlynn Jean (Benjamin) Mays; grandchildren; Aubrey, Anna, Liam, Rylen, Kinlee, Lorelei, Stella, Ivalou, Sawyer; grand-dog, Finn; siblings, Luevada (Mike) Nicholson, Clifford Dwayne (Jessica) Roach, Christopher Dale Roach, Cynthia D. (Brad) Gregg. Many nieces, nephews other family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to time of service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Randy Sawyer is officiating. Interment will be in the Walker Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown, Missouri.
