Steven Jay Priest

Steven Jay Priest, age 68 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2024, at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on May 15, 1955, to James Denzel and Shirley Lucille (Moore) Priest in Ironton, Missouri.

He was united in marriage to Diann Elizabeth Burnham on July 25, 1975, in Fredericktown, she survives at the home.

Other survivors include his two children – Rusty Priest and Hollie Combs both of Fredericktown; his mother – Shirley Priest of Marquand, Missouri; sister – Luann Priest also of Marquand and one grandson – Mason Priest.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Brewington, and twin infant brothers.

Steven was a retired truck driver; he enjoyed working on cars and was a member of the Foothill Car Club in Fredericktown, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

Visitation will be from11:00 a.m. – 1:00: p.m., on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Harley Miller.

Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Fredericktown.
