Summer Barton

            Summer Barton, 24, of St. Louis, passed away August 6, 2019 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, TX. She was born October 4, 1994, in Kingwood TX, to William Barton and Dietra Hughes. Summer’s family attends the Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown.

            She was preceded in death by her brother, Kyle William Barton; aunt, Fanny Gant; maternal grandpa, Bob Volner; paternal grandmother, Rose Mary Loveland; cousins, Abigail Jones, Ryker Thompson, and Timothy Austin.

            Summer is survived by her two daughters, Amani Grace and Kylee Sophia; mother, Dietra Hughes; maternal grandmother, Norma Volner; half-sisters, Amy and Kristen Barton; aunts and uncles, Ellen Phillips, Lester Jones, Jason Jones, Jesse Jones, Doraine Johnson, Edward Jones, Darwyn Jones, and Benita Barton; many cousins also survive.

            Visitation will be held at Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown, Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time on service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Randy Sawyer will be officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Temple Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family c/o C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
