Syble Exadean (Craig) Wilcoxen died August 7, 2017 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 90 years. She was born on August 16, 1926 in Cerro Gordo, Arkansas, daughter to the late Ellis and Gertrude (Ayers) Craig.
On August 25, 1950, she was united in marriage to Donald Moore Wilcoxen who preceded her in death on October 13, 2016. To this union two children were born: Amanda Wilcoxen and husband Dennis Taylor of Saint Louis, Missouri and Donald Moore Wilcoxen Jr. who preceded her in death. Syble is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
In addition to her husband and her son, Syble is preceded in death by her brothers Acie Craig and Jesse Craig, and her sister Elsie Muckelrath.
Syble obtained her Master of Education in Remedial Reading from Southeast Missouri State University. She was a Remedial Reading Teacher and worked for Arcadia Valley Schools for more than twenty-five years.
