Tammy Gibson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tamera Dawn Gibson, fondly known as Tammy, who left this world on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the age of 63. She was born on Saturday, December 16, 1961, in Farmington to the late Donald Farrell “Donnie” and Joanne Laverne (Smith) Gibson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Terri Jo Vasquez; grandparents, Ruby and Bryan Gibson, Waldo and Ethel Weible.

Tammy was a devoted employee of U.S. Tool in Farmington, where she worked tirelessly for 27 years as a supervisor. Her dedication, kindness, and leadership qualities greatly impacted her colleagues and the company alike. Tammy took immense pride in her work and was respected by all who knew her.

Beyond her professional life, Tammy was a woman of simple joys. She was an avid reader, often finding herself immersed in captivating murder mysteries, and cherished her time watching classic television shows like Matlock and The Big Bang Theory. Above all, family meant the world to her.

Tammy is survived by her brother, Don Gibson, Jr.; nephews, Cameron Vasquez, Collin (Megan) Vasquez; nieces, Paige (Vicki) Gibson, Bailey (CJ) Bolton; great-nephews, Mason and Leo; great-nieces, Ella and Adalynn; aunt- Kay (Leon) Pinkston along with several aunts, uncles, friends and family.

Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 11:30 AM until service time of 1:00 PM. with Pastor Joe Hayes officiating. Burial to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Park Hills.
