Thelma Ruth Mcleod

Mrs. Thelma Ruth 'Wilkerson' McLeod passed away on Thursday morning, January 30, 2003, at Integrated Health Systems Nursing Home, in Valley Park, Missouri, at the age of 78 years, 1 month & 14 days. Thelma was born Dec. 12, 1916, in rural Iron County, MO., to John Adam Wilkerson & Mary 'Chatman' Wilkerson. Also preceding-in-death were: 1 Son, Robert McLeod in-infancy; 1 Sister, Melba A. Greiner & 2 Brothers, Roy Lynn Wilkerson & John Charles Wilkerson. Thelma was a faithful, lifelong member of Farmington First Baptist Church; a founding member of the St. Francois County Association for Retarded Children & a retired employee of 33 years from SEMO Mental Health Center. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: 1 DAUGHTER: RoseMary 'Mrs. Terry L.' Moseley of Fenton; 3 SONS: Michael L. (& Mary Ann) Baker; James E. (& Melinda) McLeod & Jeffery David McLeod of Farmington; 1 SISTER: Kay 'Mrs. Jerry' Donze of Ballwin, MO; 1 BROTHER: Tom (& JoAnn) Wilkerson of Lenexa, KS; 15 GRANDCHILDREN; 22 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN & 1 GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILD. Visitation Saturday, 5-8 p.m., resuming Sunday at 7:00 a.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington. Funeral services will be Sunday, 2 p.m., at Farmington First Baptist Church with Dr. William C. Miller & Rev. Rocky Good officiating. Interment at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery, Doe Run, MO.
