Mrs. Theola Jean Wilson passed away Tuesday evening, December 8, 2009, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, Farmington, at the age of 88 years, 3 months & 26 days. Jean was born August 12, 1921, in Anna, IL. Jean was preceded by: her father, Edwin A. Erlbacher; her step-mother, Grace Erlbacher Dace; her husband, John J. Wilson (1993); and infant twin daughters: Mary Joanne Wilson & Mary Janine Wilson.

Jean was raised by her grandmother, Emma E. Erlbacher. Jean was a Girl Scout Leader for 37 Years; a 4-H Leader; an accomplished Ceramic Artist & Teacher, and a member of the Arts & Crafts Guild.

Survivors Include : 4 children - John E. "Corky" (& Nancy) Wilson, of McClure, IL; Patricia L. 'Mrs. Duwane' Williams, of Farmington; Jeanne E. Johnson (& Kenneth Dunlap), of Caledonia; Jerry W. (& Beverly) Wilson, of McClure, IL. 1 Sister, Joyce 'Mrs. Charles' Blattner, of Cape Girardeau. 2 Brothers: Jerry (& Ciss) Erlbacher, of Cape Girardeau; David (& Ricki) Erlbacher, of Cape Girardeau. Also surviving are 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren & 1 Great, Great-Grandchild.

Visitation starts : Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

Funeral : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., December 12, 2009

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Rocky Good officiating.

Visitation will resume at the conclusion of the funeral service and continue on until 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

Graveside Services: Sunday, 2:00 p.m., Dec. 13, 2009,

at: Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery, Cape Girardeau, with Rev. Randy Morgan officiating. Note: Jean's husband, John, was cremated when he passed away. His cremains will be interred with Jean.

Memorials : St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
