Theresa Catherine Meagher, age 76, of French Village, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on April 5, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late James and Delores (Stepities) Forester. Theresa leaves behind a legacy of love for her family, friends, and the canine companions she so deeply adored.
A proud member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Park Hills, as well as the American Kennel Club and the Christian Motorcycle Association, Theresa lived a life filled with passion and purpose. As a professional dog handler, she showcased her skill and dedication through her work with Rottweilers, achieving National Championships that reflected her commitment and talent in canine training. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Theresa found joy in horseback riding, motorcycle adventures, and tending to her beautiful vegetable and flower gardens until her declining health. Magnolias was the flower that held a special place in her heart.
Theresa is survived by her husband Pat Meagher, who truly loved her throughout the 59 years they were together; children, Ann Lissette and husband Jim Berghold, Monica Evette Bryan, Elaine Minette Westhoff and husband Chris, Lynn Amorette Fuhrmann and husband Michael; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Crumpton, Donna Winkler and one brother, Jimmy Forester; sister in-law, Angela Ann Hall; fur baby, Toby along with several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
