Theresa Pratz

Theresa Pratz of Arcadia, Mo went home to be with her Savior, Jesus, on June 21, 2026 at the age of 88. She was born May 25, 1938, in Honey Pot, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Kvaka) Klaga. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel Klaga, Peter Klaga, and Joseph Klaga, and sisters Mary Pehala, Anna Klinetob, and Elizabeth Klaga.

She is survived by her loving daughter Theresa and son-in-law Leslie Lantz. She leaves behind her thankful and loving 8 grandchildren Christina Lantz, Sarah Lantz, Timothy Lantz, Jonathan and wife Thais Lantz, Joshua Lantz, Marcus Lantz, Karen and husband Ted Nesham, and Josiah Lantz plus 1 great grandson Dominic. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

Theresa began work at the local cigar mill when she was 17. She spent most of her life as a commercial housekeeper as well as a personal house cleaner. Wherever she lived she became active in an organization such as the American Legion in PA, Moose Club in PA, Clement Community Center in CO, Signer Senior Center MO, Red Hats Society in CO and MO, and the local church. She loved to play bingo, play cards, work puzzles, paint rocks and birdhouses; and especially, spend time at her grandchildren’s events. She always thought of others before herself and will be remembered for her thoughtful cards and kind words. She was a sweet woman. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home-Bryson Chapel in Pilot Knob on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Mr. Leslie Lantz. Interment will follow at Polk Cemetery in Arcadia. Memorials may be made to Polk Cemetery, 10786 Hwy E, Arcadia, MO 63621, or The American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
