Thomas Lee Hampton

Thomas Lee Hampton, 87, of Farmington passed away August 19, 2024 at Presbyterian Manor of Farmington. He was born February 22, 1937 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Lawrence Ray and Opal Mae (Riley) Hampton. Tom proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington, where he served as a deacon for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Lions Club, Farmington American Legion Post 417, Gideons International and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Tom started and ran the Farmington area AAU basketball program for many years. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Patty Jean (Pogue) Hampton; brother, A.G. Hampton; sister, Ruby Talley; brother-in-law, Lonnie Crabtree.

Tom is survived by his son, Eric “Ric” Hampton and wife Laura; daughter, Jeanna Hennrich; seven grandchildren, Seth Hennrich (Jessica), Levi Hennrich (Tasha), Kate Musgrove, Jordan Hampton, Abi Hampton, Tyler Hampton, Claire Hampton; ten great-grandchildren, Colby Hennrich, Carson Hennrich, Camden Hennrich, Sterling Hennrich, Landry Hennrich, Asher Musgrove, Cora Musgrove, Ross Hargis, Kolsyn Hampton, Elena Bennett; three siblings, Edith Crabtree, David Hampton (Tanya) and Yvonne Spaulding. 

A graveside service with full military honors will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington with Rev. Rocky Good officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Serenity HospiceCare. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
