Thomas Clayton Parker

Thomas Clayton Parker of Ironton, MO passed away April 12, 2015 at The Baptist Home at the age of 90 years. He was born July 24, 1924 in Harlan, Kentucky the son of Clayton and Agnes (Sheldon) Bailey. On December 6, 1947 he was united in marriage to Velma Ellen Carpenter who survives. In addition to his wife, Thomas is survived by his children; Vicky Parker of Clinton, TN, Thomas Parker and wife Jeanne of Boca Raton, FL, Sharon Bowen of Arcadia, MO, and David Parker and wife Debbie of Carthage, North Carolina. Also surviving are two brothers; Bob Parker of Crossville, TN, Vaughn Parker and wife Joyce of Memphis, TN, and a sister; Carolyn Binford and husband Tom of Nashville, TN, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Pilot Knob First Baptist Church.
