Mr. Thomas 'Tom' Brown, of Farmington, passed away early Friday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2008, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, MO., at the age of 82 years, 6 months & 14 days. Tom was born Jan. 17, 1926, at Minnith, in Ste. Genevieve County, MO., to Franklin & Laura 'Evans' Brown. Also preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret 'Sullivan' Brown (1969); second wife, Virgie Hazel 'Boland' Thomure Brown (Aug. 4, 2004); 1 daughter, Donna Brown, in-infancy; 1 son, in-infancy; 1 sister, Melba 'Mrs. Ralph' Ballard & his Guardians, Clarence & Edith Evans.

Tom was a member of the Park Hills United Methodist Church; a member of the St. Francois Masonic Lodge #234 of Libertyville; a US Army Veteran of WWII, in the European Theater & retired in 1991 as a Corrections Officer from the Farmington Correctional Center.

Survivors Include : 2 Daughters, Deborah 'Mrs. Craig' Huhmann, of St. Louis & Marcia 'Mrs. Lloyd' Haims, of Alto Pass, IL. 1 Step-Son: Dennis (& Sharon) Thomure, of Coffman. 5 Grandchildren: Matt, Kyle & Megan Huhmann, of St. Louis; Emily 'Mrs. Joe' Coleman, of Park Hills; Dale (& Sarah) Thomure, of Coffman. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Sunday, 5-8 p.m. Monday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation Resumes: Tuesday @ 6:00 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., August 5, 2008,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Eddie Bone & Rev. Noel Stephens officiating.

Private Interment follows at a later date at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington.

Memorials to: * Habitat for Humanity; * American Cancer Society &/or * The St. Francois Masonic Lodge #234 of Libertyville.
