Tom Whaley, 65 of Desloge passed away September 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 9, 1948 in Ironton. He worked at Pepsi and Lee Mechanical.He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas G. Whaley and Freda Crader-Whaley.Tom is survived by his wife, Sandy; sons, Mark and wife Callista, Greg, Brad and wife Jaime; sisters, Alma Whaley-McEwen, Bea Whaley-Gough, and Vivian (Bib) Whaley-Johnson; grandchildren, Thomas, Nathan, Lauren, Matthew, Devon, Jordan, Makenna, Joey and Ian; three great grandchildren; a group of great men from the Briarwood; and special friend, Bob.Memorial Service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, September 26th, 2013 beginning at 7:00 PM, with a closing prayer by Danny Weible.
