Tim Price

Tim Price, a beloved resident of Ironton, passed away June 10, 2025, at the age of 68, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was born on March 22, 1957, to the late Charles and Lily (Lashley) Price. Tim, as he was affectionately known, was a dedicated member of the Pure Gospel Ministry in Bismarck. He served his community with honor and courage for 38 years at the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Office, where he earned the rank of Lieutenant before retiring. His earlier years included a position with the Elvins Police Department, where his passion for law enforcement began. An enthusiastic lover of classic cars, he lived a life full of passion and creativity, particularly evident in his love for restoring vintage vehicles. His competitive spirit shone during shooting matches, but it was in the moments spent with family and grandchildren that he found his greatest joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jon Price.

Tim was a loving husband to his wife, Carolyn (Simmons) Price; adoring father to Rhonda (Greg) Currington, Beth (Katrina) Smith, Sarah (Mike) Courtway and their two children, and Diana Brush; PawPaw to Abby, Alyssa, Aubrey, Grant, Olivia, Ian, Charlie, Elijah and Skylar; one great-granddaughter, Nova Joy; brother to Dennis (Rita) Price and Michael “Mike” (Tina) Price; one sister in-law, Debbie Carr; and loving fur baby, Wooly.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, June 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Ray Jarvis will be officiating. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck.

In this time of grieving, the family asks that you keep Tim's memory alive in your hearts and encourage all who knew him to rejoice in the love and laughter that he generously brought to the world. In honor of Tim’s memory, memorials may be directed to “Shop With A Cop.”
