Timothy Lynn Smith

Timothy Lynn Smith passed away September 20, 2017 in Pilot Knob, Missouri at the age of 48 years. He was born on December 4, 1968 in Hayti, Missouri, son of Truman Smith of Caruthersville, Missouri and the late Linda (Alexander) Smith. On April 4, 1992, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Sutton Turner who survives. To this union one child was born, Alexandra Sutton Smith of Kansas City, Missouri. Tim is also survived by his brother Truman Smith of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his sister Rita Middleton of Caruthersville, Missouri, his uncle Jimmy Alexander of Caruthersville, Missouri as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Tim served his country proud in the United States Air Force and due to his illness was retired as a Staff Sergeant. He coached basketball, tennis and baseball in Caruthersville, Puxico and Meadow Heights. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, gardening, and has won cooking contest. He was a member of St. Marks Masonic Lodge #93 in Cape Girardeau.
