Toney Lee Bruce

Toney Bruce, 64, of Piedmont, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He was born on Wednesday, October 7,1960, in St. Louis, MO to the late David and Betty (McGuire) Bruce. Toney was a skilled laborer and even was a foreman in the Laborer's Union in St. Louis. In his earlier days he would be found spelunking in caves all over .He loved to gamble and riding his UTV on the trails by Black River. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a one sister, Traci Bruce.

Toney is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carol Bruce; one son, Dale Stovall; two grandchildren, Nick Fischer, and Sarah Stovall; three great-grandchildren, Owen Fischer, Theo Fischer, and Joshua Pemberton; and special niece, Stephanie. Other nieces, nephews' other family and friends also survive.

The family is going to have a celebration of life for Toney. The date and place will be announced by the family. Arrangements are under the care of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown, Missouri.
