Velma Fern Kelley

Velma Fern Kelley of Fenton, Missouri passed away December 23, 2024, at her home at the age of 88 years. She was born July 29, 1936, in Centerville, Missouri, the daughter of the late John Buell and Jewell (Harrison) Bowles. On May 10, 1957, she was united in marriage to Harold Edward Kelley Sr. who preceded her in death on September 6, 2015. They were the parents of Harold Edward Kelley Jr. (Lisa) who survives and resides in House Springs, Missouri. Velma's sister, Sylvia "Jean" Bowles of Pilot Knob survives as well as three grandchildren: Harold Kelley III (Jessica) of Hillsboro, Jamie Kasten (Louis) of Festus, and Jake Kelley (Jessica) also of Festus. Velma was great grandma to Ella, Maddie, Natalie, Harold IV, Benjamin, Amie, Austin, Anderson, and Axel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as other family members and friends. Velma enjoyed painting, sewing and cooking. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping.
