Velva Lee Moore

Mrs. Velva Lee 'Stratton' Moore passed away early Thursday morning, July 30, 2009, at Community Manor, in Farmington, at the age of 78 years, 8 months & 10 days. Velva was born November 20, 1930, in Centralia, Illinois, and was the daughter of Elmus Lee Stratton and Dorothea Oral 'Peacock' Stratton.

Velva formerly worked as a Supervisor at Western Electric Mfg.

Survivors Include : a Sister, Inez Kniffen, of Farmington; a Brother, Bill (& Deana) Stratton, of Alton, Illinois and a Caregiver & Friend, Rachel Mann, of Farmington.

Pursuant to Velva's wishes there will be No Visitation -or- Services & Private Burial Will Be Held.

Interment at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Farmington.
