Veona Jones

Mrs. Veona Jones, of Farmington, formerly of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2004, at St. Francois Manor Nursing Home, in Farmington, at the age of 91 years, 1 month & 12 days. Veona was born March 29, 1913 in Paragould, Arkansas, to Claude & Mary 'Brummett' Walker. She was also preceded-in-death by: her husband, Roy Jones (1981); 1 Son, Wallace Gene Yates; 1 Daughter, in-infancy, Alma Fay; & 8 Brothers. Veona was a member of The Church of Christ. SURVIVORS INCLUDE : 4 Grandchildren - Wallace (& Mona) Yates, of Farmington; Crystal (& Kenneth) LaForge, of Williford, Ark., Paul Wallace Yates, of Virginia & Claude Gene Yates, of Taunton, Mass. Also surviving are 5 Great-Grandchildren & 1 Great, Great-Granddaughter. Visitation Friday, 5-8 p.m, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington. Visitation will resume Saturday morning, at 10:30 a.m., at the Shiloh Cemetery, Paragould, Arkansas. Graveside services will be Saturday, 11 am, May 15, 2005, at Shiloh Cemetery, with Minister Jerry Reynolds officiating. Memorials may be directed to: * The Farmington Senior Center.
