Vera H. Hellon

Mrs. Vera H. Hellon passed away early Sunday morning, Oct. 1, 2006, at her Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 95 years, 6 months & 13 days. Vera was born March 18, 1911, in St. Louis, MO., & was the daughter of Charles R. Sliter & Sara A. 'Adair' Sliter. Also preceding-in-death was her husband, Robert William Hellon, on Dec. 16, 1996; 1 Brother: Robert A. Sliter & 1 Great-Granddaughter, Faith Coleman.

Vera was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington.

Survivors include 1 Daughter: Vivian Coleman, of Farmington; 1 Son: Robert William (& Carolyn) Hellon, Jr., of Belle Plaine, Kansas; 5 Grandchildren: Robert (& Sara) Hellon; Michael (& Erin) Hellon; Dennis (& Melissa) Hellon; Crystee 'Mrs. Jamie' Williams & Jim (& Tammie) Coleman, Jr. Also, 8 Great-Grandchildren: James S. Coleman, III; Cassee Coleman; Robert John, Claire & Isabella Hellon; Case Payne; Lorelai Hellon & Bishop Hellon.

Visitation: Tuesday, 5-9 p.m. & resumes Wednesday 7-11 a.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc.

Funeral: Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., October 4, 2006, at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc. CHAPEL, with Rev. Rick Broadway officiating. Interment follows in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Farmington.
