Vera Mae Brune

Mrs. Vera Mae Brune passed away early Wednesday afternoon, November 6, 2013, at her Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 84 years, 9 months & 11 days. Vera was born on January 25, 1929, in St. Louis, Mo., & was the daughter of Charles M. McDaniel and Edna 'McDowell' McDaniel. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Roscoe Donald Brune (1994), and a grandson, Joshua Stephen Brune.

Vera was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Farmington, and retired as a Medical Records Supervisor from Medical Arts Clinic. Vera was a member of a Bowling League for years. Vera also loved & cared for her grandchildren.

Survivors Include: a daughter, Donna 'Mrs. Billy' Bess, of Farmington. A son, Stephen Brune, of Farmington. A sister, Melba 'Mrs. Charles' Gierse, of Florissant. A sister-in-law, Joan Giles, of Ironton. A brother-in-law, Randol (& Nancy) Brune, of McLouth, KS; 4 grandchildren: Dustin (& Jamie) Brune, of Farmington; Stephanie (& Jason) Daffron, of Bonne Terre; Natalie & Megan Bess, both of Farmington. Also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren: Megan (& Michael) Schnedler; Maggie Burlbaw; Josie Daffron; Axtin & Trigg Brune. Great, Great-Grandchild, Colton Schnedler. Also surviving are several Nieces; Nephews & many Special Friends.

Visitation : Friday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday, 6:30 a.m., and Funeral 1:00 p.m.

Interment follows at Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Farmington
