Verna Lue Ella Hale
Verna Lue Ella Hale, 72, of Bonne Terre passed away June 19, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. She was born January 4, 1945 in East Prairie, to the late Charlie and Cora (Wilson) Jackson. Also preceding her in death was one great-grandson.
Verna is survived by her husband, George Hale; daughter, Karen Sue Durbin; two grandchildren, Christopher (Heather) Durbin and Kalan (Chris) Adams; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Billy (Martha) Jackson, Harold (Nina) Jackson and Franklin Jackson.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, June 23, 2017 from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
