Verney "Frank" Parton, Sr.

Verney Franklin “Frank” Parton, Sr., 72, of Bonne Terre passed away October 26, 2017. He was born September 25, 1945 in Cardwell. He was preceded in death by his father, Verney Augusta Parton and half-sister, Kathy Harris. He served his country with distinction and honor during the Vietnam War in the United States Airforce.

Frank is survived by his mother, Christine (Ferrell) Barton; children, Christine Parton, Frank Parton, Jr., and Jeffery Porter; granddaughter Kelsie Voloski; sister, Brenda Parton; half-sister, Jacqueline Parton; half-brother, John Parton; step sisters, Linda Vandiver and Debbie King; Frank is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Rev. Brad Dush officiating.
