Vida Mae John

Vida Mae John of Belleview, Missouri passed away June 14, 2025 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 89 years. She was born November 21, 1935 the daughter of the late Banks Conner and Dorothy (Chapin) Bartley Jr. Vida was a sister to James Stephen Bartley and she was an aunt to several nieces and nephews. Vida worked for the United States Postal Service where she retired from as Postmistress. She also worked as a special investigator. Vida loved interior design working as a designer as a side job. She continued to subscribe to interior design magazines after her retirement. Vida enjoyed her home and her flowers. She loved cats and took care of many over the years. She also had several birds for pets. Vida was a Christian woman who collected Christian books and momentos. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Ironton, Missouri. Pastor Robert Crecelius will be officiating.
