Vincent Thomas Blunt

Mr. Vincent Thomas Blunt, of Farmington, passed away Friday afternoon, June 6, 2003, at Parkland Health Center - South, in Farmington, Missouri, at the age of 86 years, 1 month & 23 days. Vincent was born April 13, 1917, in St. Louis, to Nickolas Blunt & Mary Elizabeth 'Fitzgerald' Blunt. Also preceding in death was his wife Jewell M. 'Knop' Blunt (Dec. 3, 2002) & his brother, Ed Ryan. Vincent was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farmington; member of Chef Cuisine of St. Louis, Missouri & the American Culinary Association; & a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. SURVIVORS include, 2 SONS: David T. Blunt, of Farmington, Missouri & Richard (& Linda) Blunt, of Granite City, Illinois; and 2 GRANDCHILDREN: Renata M. Blunt & Justin W. Blunt, both of Granite City, Illinois. Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 p.m., June 9, 2003, with Rosary Service, & resuming Tuesday 7:00 a.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service, Inc., CHAPEL, in Farmington, Missouri. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., June 10, 2003, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farmington. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis County, Missouri. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farmington.
