Violet Maebelle Crawford

Violet Maebelle Crawford, age 89 of Farmington, Missouri (formerly of Fredericktown, Missouri) passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Southbrook Care Center in Farmington. She was born on August 17, 1935, in Greenville, Missouri, to Raymond E. and Myrtle Magdeline (Jaco) Martin.

On July 2,1973, in Hugo, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to William Howard Crawford, he preceded her in death on January 31, 1979.

She is survived by her two daughters – Misty Seals and Sharon Bollinger both of Farmington and six grandchildren – Christy Senf, Jackie Lynn Hovis, Aprils Seals, Lisa Hovis, James Miller and Danielle Crawford.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Miller, one son, Billy Miller Jr. and one sister, Virginia Martin.

Violet had worked at Gilster-Mary Lee in Steelville, Illinois; upon moving to Fredericktown, she then worked at the M&M Market in Fredericktown, she enjoyed cooking and collecting her tea sets; she had attended Twin Oaks Church in Fredericktown.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., also on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Wilson funeral Home with Pastor Bob Thebeau officiating.

Interment will be at Libertyville Christian Cemetery in Libertyville, Missouri.
