Violet Lucille Edwards

Violet Lucille (Campbell) Edwards, age 98, beloved wife of the late William W Edwards passed away April 29, 2021 at Dixon, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents Freeman and Lottie Campbell and also by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Violet Lucille Edwards, daughter of the late Freeman and Lottie (Mayberry) Campbell, was born February 25, 1923 in Roselle, Missouri. She graduated from Ironton High School with the Class of 1943. Shortly after graduation, Violet moved to St. Louis and began working at the defense factory and box factory. While in St. Louis, Violet met a young man by the name of William Woodrow Edwards who was stationed at Scott Air Force Base. They were united in marriage on April 28, 1951 in St. Louis. Due to William being in the military, they were transferred to different duties stations, to include South Carolina, Washington, and Arizona.
