Violet K. Davault

Mrs. Violet K. 'Wofford' Davault passed away Wednesday evening, October 14, 2009, at her Farmington Presbyterian Manor residence at the age of 97 years, 7 months & 6 days. Violet was born on March 8, 1912, in Salem, Missouri, and was the daughter of John Wofford and Matilda E. 'Motsinger' Wofford. Also preceding in death were: her husband of 63 years, Ora T. Davault (1998); 4 Sisters & 5 Brothers.

Violet was a longtime, faithful member of the Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church. She and Ora were united in marriage on Dec. 22, 1934, in Potosi, MO.

Survivors Include: her son, Leroy (& June) Davault, of Farmington. 2 Grandsons: Linn (& Patricia) Davault, of Sikeston, MO & Blaine (& Jenny) Davault, of Farmington. 4 Great-Grandchildren: Kasey, Corey, Kelsey & Connor Davault. Also surviving are numerous Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation Starts : Friday @ 9:00 a.m.

Funeral : Friday, October 16, 2009, @ 2:00 p.m.

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Dave Parmley officiating.

Interment follows at : Pendleton Cemetery, Doe Run, MO.
