Virgil "Buzzy" Pruitt

Virgil "Buzzy" M. Pruitt, 70, of Bonne Terre passed away April 21, 2015 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson. He was born April 19, 1945 in Kingston to the late Bill and Cletus (Cain) Pruitt. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Jeanetta (Sansoucie) Pruitt; sister, Mae Johnson; brother, Ralph Pruitt. He enjoyed working on small engines, he could repair anything. He loved to listen to Jimmy Swaggart. "Buzzy" is survived by six children, Charles Lee (Lisa) DeClue, Tony (fiancé Amanda Satterfield) Pruitt, Cathy (Dave) Nash, Louise (Don) Tedder, Peggy Cleveland, Cheryl Skaggs; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Keith Pruitt and Lloyd Pruitt and wife Barb; three sisters, Helen Harris and husband Bob, Joyce Sansoucie and Betty Johnson. Visitation will be Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z.
