Virginia Marie Rodgers
Mrs. Virginia Marie Rodgers passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 2011, at her Stockhoff Nursing Home residence in Fredericktown, at the age of 82 years, 1 month & 4 days. Virginia was born on September 1, 1929, in Bonne Terre, and was the daughter of John Hodge, Sr., & Eva Pearl 'Mackey' Hodge. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Bobby Joe Rodgers, Sr., (June 17, 2011); a stillborn daughter, Linda Lee Rodgers; 2 sisters: Eva Ramsey & Ethel Benz; 2 brothers: Charles David Hodge & John Hodge, Jr.
Virginia was a member of the Pine Log Baptist Church.
Survivors Include: her Daughter, Sharon Kay 'Mrs. Denny' Thomure. 2 Sons: Bobby Joe Rodgers, Jr., & Larry Wayne Rodgers, all of Ste. Genevieve County. A Sister, Barbara Degonia, of Park Hills. 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Step, Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation : Friday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes Saturday, 6:30 a.m.
Funeral : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., October 8, 2011
at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Tim Mattingly officiating.
Interment follows at : Bonne Terre Cemetery
