Virginia Marie Simmons

Mrs. Virginia Marie 'Hausner' Simmons passed away early Monday morning, April 29, 2013, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, in Farmington, at the age of 84 years, 2 months & 22 days. Virginia was born on February 7, 1929, in Lemay, Missouri. She was preceded-in-death by: her parents, Stephen and Agnes 'Callahan' Hausner, her husband, Robert Eugene Simmons (Dec. 7, 1969); a daughter, Karen Irene Walker, a brother, Matthew Hausner and a granddaughter, Heather Kay Simmons.

Virginia was a member of St. Peter's James Chains Mission of St. Louis.

Survivors include: 2 sons - Robert (& Angie) Simmons, of Farmington; Michael James Simmons, of Farmington, & his fiancee' Shanda Arnold. 6 Grandchildren: Tony (& Tiana) Simmons; Travis Walker; Amy Simmons; Brandy (& Jedidiah) Lee; Christy Ashburn and Lucus Church. 6 Great-Grandchildren: Zane, Gabby, Lily & Zoe Simmons; Chloe Charles & Kyle Mills. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews.

Visitation : Sunday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation Resumes, Monday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Monday, 10:00 a.m., May 6, 2013

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Father Paul Skierka officiating

Interment : New Calvary Cemetery, Farmington
